From as far back as I can remember, it seems that I have always dabbled in Fashion. As a young miss- and over the years, I've model for shops such as The Famous, Altschul's, Lowenthal's and Dillard's. I have coordinated fashion shows for various churches and organizations, and even operated my own Chess Charm & Modeling School for a few years.
After having accomplished so much personally, I felt the need to share my knowledge with youngsterss in the community and surrounding areas. I therefore created a program by which all individuals can learn proper etiquette and soft-skills and how to position themselves to achieve their professional goals. The Gracekelli's White Glove Program was created for that purpose.
Grace LaVerne Bishop is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia and has taught high fashion and modeling to children and adults for many years -- in Chicago at Baribizon, and in Norfolk as a previous owner and operator of a charm school. in addition, she was a traveling make-up artist for Fashion Fair Cosmetics for fifteen years. Grace also conducted a "Finishing Touch" program for youth on behalf of the Norfolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority, and for the Faith Deliverance Christian Center in Norfolk.
